Campus facilities for rent

The campus at Marygrove offers a variety of event spaces for personal and business occasions – from weddings and formal events to meetings and live performances. Facilities can accommodate group sizes from 10 to 400. The tree covered campus has spectacular landscaping surrounding 19th century Gothic-style buildings with well-maintained architectural features. Rich in history, the campus is secure and offers ample parking. Located at 8425 McNichols Road in Detroit, Michigan, the campus is only seven miles from downtown Detroit and two miles from Ferndale and Royal Oak.

Premier Wedding Package

The premier wedding package features the most desired event spaces on campus. Rich in history, the campus evokes a classic ambiance and serenity that will enhance your special day and create memories for years to come.

Denk Chapman Hall

A perfect venue for smaller meetings, conferences, recitals or a more intimate gathering. Includes fireplace, piano and private foyer entrance which is ideal for food and beverage or easel displays, welcome tables, gifts, etc.

Keenan Courtyard & Gardens

Main Dining Hall

Theresa Maxis Alumnae Hall

Sacred Heart Chapel

A gorgeous setting resembling a Gothic cathedral with Italian marble altars, Bavarian art glass windows, piano and Casavant organ*.

A classic, intimate live performance facility featuring a proscenium stage and a sprung floor, five dressing rooms with full amenities, stage manager room, fully equipped green room, rehearsal studio, box office and central air conditioning.

Founder's Room

This boardroom-style gathering space is an intimate choice for board meetings, private dinners and more. The central attraction of the room is a long antique wooden table seating up to 10.

This location is perfect for retreats and meetings. The cozy space offers sofa, table and high-top seating options. There is a spacious foyer with restrooms, a reception desk and a kitchenette for your convenience.

Faculty Dining Room

Perfect for small meetings, luncheons, and more. The Faculty Dining Room can be accessed from our kitchen and cafeteria dining area, as well as via our main hallway. The space features a wet bar and adequate counter space.

City Six Conference Room - 126

A classic meeting space with a modern twist.   City Six provides a lovely view of central campus and features a vibrant Detroit themed wall mural, conference table seating for 6, and a flat screen TV with HDMI connection.

Construction at the Marygrove Campus

We want to inform you about our upcoming construction project at the Marygrove Campus that will impact our event rentals. The Sacred Heart Chapel and Theatre will be available during construction.  Please take note of the following changes:

Everyday Cafe Event Space:
Effective July 31, 2024, the Everyday Cafe will not be available as an event space due to renovations in the Madam Cadillac building.

Madam Cadillac Building Event Rentals:
Effective September 30, 2024, Marygrove Conservancy will not be able to accept event rental requests for select spaces in the Madam Cadillac building. This temporary suspension is necessary to facilitate renovations and enhance the overall experience of future events. 

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. We eagerly anticipate the completion of the renovations, as they will allow us to host your events in an improved and upgraded space. We look forward to welcoming you back for even more memorable events in the near future.
