As part of the 20th anniversary of Too Hot To Handel, the jazz gospel Messiah at Detroit Opera House on Jan 13th, Rackham Choir and ACE have created this free panel discussion. Moderated by City of Detroit Director of Arts and Culture Rochelle Riley, and features Mark Stryker, author of Jazz from Detroit and former Detroit Free Press arts reporter and critic, and Deborah Smith Pollard, professor emerita, U of M-Dearborn, co-host: “Sunday Morning Inspiration,” MIX 92.3 FM and Too Hot To Handel pianist Alvin Waddles.
